Illawarra Recognise 28 years of Jillaroo's

Last Friday, the Illawarra Rugby League hosted a very special event, recognizing the regions role in the success of the Australian Jillaroo's brand over the past 28 years.

In all, there have been 25 women selected for the Jillaroo's who have come from the Illawarra Rugby League system. What is most amazing, 9 of these, have come from our great club in the last decade. Truly highlighting the power of the Tigerlillies within Women's Rugby League.

Our very own Kezie Apps and Sammy Bremner were part of the ceremony which also included Women's Rugby League pioneer, Tarsha Gale.

​Can't wait to see our current Jillaroo's, Kezie, Sammy and Jess lead a new breed of Tigerlilly onto Rex Jackson Oval this Saturday @12.30pm as they take on the Roosters in our first ever Harvey Norman Women's Premiership game!
