Our Community is Our Home...
As our mission statement reads, "Our community is our home. We will engage and support our community on the individual and group level".
At the Tigers we are all about giving back to the community. This is our town and we are your team.
We are constantly looking for ways we can contribute in and around our community.
If you have an idea of a project we can sink our teeth into, please contact us on our Facebook page

Past Community Innitiatives
Team Caleb
The Tigers in conjunction with Crawhies Swim School banded together in a bid to raise over $20,000 for Caleb who suffers from Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy to go toward upgrades around his family home to make life a little easier for Caleb and his family.
The 1st grade boys played in a limited edition Wiggles (which is Caleb's favourite thing in the world) inspired jersey, with Caleb presenting the game ball.
On our bye weekend, the boys and girls attended Caleb's house in Stanwell Park where they built an access ramp for Caleb's wheelchair, a purpose built swing and landscaped the gardens.

A Day for Slater
When one of our own is in a time of need, the Tigers are always there.
Some former Tigers legends dusted off the boots in a match against a group of former Illawarra Rugby League All-Stars to raise money for a young kid who's mother was tragically killed.
The day raised in excess of $15,000.

Disabled Surfers
In what is one of the most fun days on the pre-season calendar, the Tigers and Tigerlillies love being involved with Disabled Surfers Australia. We have struck up a wonderful relationship with the wonderful people from D.S.A and love getting out amongst it with all the talented surfers invloved.
Unfortunately, Covid put a stop to the D.S.A this summer, but our crew can't wait to get back involved next summer!

Tigers Go Pink
The Tigers 1st Grade played in a once off, pink jersey to raise funds for the Joanne Mackay Breast Cancer Foundation. Each jersey was sold for $500 with the purchaser getting front of jersey recognition.
The after party was something to remember, with local rockers Spindrift rocking the Tradies.
In all, in excess of $40,000 was raised on the day.

The Push-up Challenge
While we were all locked up in Covid isolation, the Tigerlillies threw down the challenge to the Tigers, competing in a month long push-up challenge.
In all, over 60,000 push-ups were completed by the guys and girls raising over $2,600 for the Headspace initiative, promoting mental health awareness.
For anyone interested, the girls won the challenge, completing more push-ups and raising more money.

Global Recognition
When it comes to promoting the great game of Rugby League and more importantly, our little community, we aren't bounded by borders. The Tigers have not only travelled interstate to show Australia what we have got, we've travelled the globe!
Tigers Golden Oldies
Our Golden Oldies represent the Tigers in the Australian Masters competition held on the Gold Coast.
To date, our fellas remain undefeated, both on and off the field!

Atlantic Cup - Florida
Our boys travelled to the U.S of A to represent Australia in the Atlantic Cup, which was played in Jacksonville Florida.
In a huge upset, the Tigers showed the world what our club was made of with a hard fought victory over the United Kingdom Police national team.

Canada Tour
Following our successful tour of the USA, our boys travelled to Vancouver, Canada to promote the game of Rugby League.
We conducted training and development programs with local schools in the British Columbia region, before taking on the British Columbia Bulldogs. The Canadians played a physical brand of footy, but our boys were to good in the end, coming away with 7 point victory.
